Day 11 — The Gift of Giving
Share
Scripture:
“And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”
— Matthew 2:11 (NKJV)
A Love Letter from the Father
Beloved,
The wise men traveled far, following only a promise of light.
They came not because I required their gifts, but because love compelled them.
True giving is never about what is lost from your hands—it is about what is released from your heart.
They laid gold, frankincense, and myrrh before the Child who already owned the stars.
Yet Heaven smiled, because worship wrapped in generosity becomes holy incense.
Giving transforms you into My likeness, for I am the Giver of every good thing.
Do not wait until you feel rich to give; give, and you will discover how rich you already are.
Give time, compassion, forgiveness, joy.
Every seed sown in love multiplies in ways unseen.
Beloved, when you open your hands, I fill them again.
The world fears scarcity, but My kingdom flows in abundance.
You will never outgive Me, but I invite you to try.
Let your life become a Bethlehem offering—simple, sincere, and surrendered.
When you give with joy, you make room for miracles.
Call to Worship
Lay your treasures before Him—your time, your praise, your heart.
Whisper, “All I have is Yours.”
Worship through giving today.
