Scripture:
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.”
— Luke 1:46-47 (NKJV)
A Love Letter from the Father
Beloved,
Before angels filled the night with song, joy was already blooming in a young woman’s heart.
When Mary whispered yes to Me, the heavens leaned close to hear faith turn into melody.
She did not sing because the path was smooth or the road clear; she sang because she knew I was faithful.
Joy is not a glittering surface emotion; it is the steady river that flows from trusting Me.
The world will try to buy it, chase it, drink it, and lose it again, but true joy cannot be purchased or taken.
It is born whenever you remember that I am near.
Think of that manger. The animals shifted; the air smelled of hay and hope.
Around them lay a city too busy to notice, yet within that small space, joy filled creation.
Even the stars joined the song. For the first time since Eden, Heaven and Earth were singing in harmony again.
I see you when laughter feels far away.
When disappointment dulls the edge of your praise, I still whisper through the night: Rejoice.
Not because everything is perfect, but because everything is held in Me.
Joy grows when you let gratitude take root.
It blooms when you remember that every breath, every sunrise, every small mercy is evidence of My care.
Beloved, let Me teach you how to dance again.
You don’t need music; the melody already lives inside you.
Let your soul remember the manger, where even silence was holy.
Joy is not the denial of pain; it is the defiance of despair.
It is Heaven’s laughter echoing through your weary bones, declaring that darkness never gets the last word.
So lift your face today.
Even if tears trace your cheeks, let them shimmer with joy’s reflection.
The same God who turned a stable into a sanctuary is turning your ordinary into glory.
You are not forgotten; you are favored.
Sing with Mary, and let your spirit magnify Me.
Call to Worship
Pause and breathe the Bethlehem air.
Let gratitude rise like a carol.
Whisper, “My soul rejoices in You, my Savior.”
For joy has come, and His name is Jesus.
